For nearly 80 years, the Canaris have been thrilling soccer fans. Directed by the very controversial Waldemar Kita, the club has counted in its ranks emblematic footballers such as Didier Deschamps, Marcel Desailly, Christian Karembeu or Mickaël Landreau. Since May 2023, Pierre Aristouy has been coaching the yellow and green players, succeeding many coaches who have marked the life of FCN (José Arribas, Jean-Claude Suaudeau, or Michel Der Zakarian). The Canaries have a nice record of achievements: 8 French championships, 4 French cups and 2 European cup semi-finals. In May 2022, FC Nantes was crowned winner of the French Cup for the fourth time, the city vibrated that day.

Located ten minutes from downtown Nantes and the SNCF train station, the CREPS des Pays de la Loire is set in a green setting. It is home to 79 top-level young athletes in 3 "Pôles France", 7 "Pôles Espoirs" and 6 clubs. It also organizes 18 vocational training courses in the sports and entertainment professions: 3 DE JEPS (Diplômes d'Etat de la Jeunesse, de l'Éducation populaire et du Sport), including 1 in social entertainment, and 15 BP JEPS (Brevet Professionnel de la Jeunesse, de l'Éducation populaire et du Sport), including 1 in social entertainment. Everything is done to make your stay as pleasant as possible: a dynamic and welcoming team, a catering and accommodation service that adapts to your needs, relaxation areas and buildings located in a quiet setting in the Doulon district. The CREPS (Centre de ressources, d'expertise et de performance sportive) des Pays de la Loire is a national public establishment. It is part of the French Ministry of Health and Sports.

CVAN invites you to discover the pleasures of paddling at La Chapelle-sur-Erdre, in a natural setting just a stone's throw from Nantes. Alone, with your family or in a group, you'll be able to indulge in this activity while enjoying a landscape that blends city and nature. The site has been awarded the "Site Sportif de Nature" label, and is fully equipped for safe paddling. You can also combine your paddle session with a pilates activity on the water. What's more, CVAN is easily accessible by public transport.
