New bistro restaurant serving highly creative dishes, very affordable formulas and wine pairings
Opposite the sublime Saint-Pierre church in Carquefou, there's great news: a new bistronomic restaurant has opened its doors! Chef Maxime Marteau welcomes us into his setting, decorated by artist Célia Godefroy and her mural art. After working for 3-star Régis and Jacques Marcon in the Loire, then in Luxembourg, and finally at the Caudalies restaurant in Saint-Herblain, the chef decided to set up his own establishment. Maioann is the name of the last syllables of his 3 godchildren Emma, Enio and Elouann. Above all, it's the chef's great creativity and talent. Very affordable formulas at lunchtime and multi-course formulas with wine pairings in the evening or at weekends. Cream of parsnip, perfect egg, veal blanquette and chef's vegetables, or redfish fillet and chocolate hazelnut éclair are just a few examples of the daily specials. In the evening, scallops, lamb's lettuce or burnt leeks, shellfish, citrus fruit, market fish and buckwheat caramel apple dessert. Naturally, the chef works with fresh, local produce from local farms, and you can enjoy your meal with a splendid view of the church.
