Founded in 1999 by Jean-François Gaborit, Atelier des Métaux brilliantly combines traditional know-how with cutting-edge technology. Using computer-aided design software and laser-cutting machines, the workshop creates one-of-a-kind staircases under the Escaligne brand, veritable contemporary works of art marked with an authenticity number. In addition to these sumptuous made-to-measure creations in metal, wood, glass or slate, L'Atelier also offers gates, skylights and furniture, all crafted to the highest standards. The company also works for the industrial sector, perpetuating tradition while exploring innovation.

Created by companions of the Tour de France, the Ural society has existed for more than forty years and according to a zone that stretches up to 150 km around Nantes and the Paris region. In the programme: This team of professionals designs, manufactures and poses custom stairs, answering four types: traditional, classic, modern and helical. The preferred materials are oak, beech, fir, rubber or some exotic wood such as tauari. You have to play: you can choose a bois staircase or add more contemporary items such as cables, glass or metal tubes!
