The Baie Saint-Jean botanical gardens are located in the heart of Wimereux, just a stone's throw from the town center.
The botanical gardens of Baie Saint-Jean are located in the heart of Wimereux, a few steps from the city center and its main attractions. As soon as you enter, you are elsewhere: high grasses spread out to let you take a pontoon, above a pond on which seagulls compete with ducks. Enthusiasm of the children guaranteed! From there, you can stroll through two hectares of gardens, planted and arranged according to the seasons.

c'est un petit coin de verdure au coeur de Wimereux à proximité de la digue où il fait bon flâner autour des petits carrés à thèmes de ce jardin créatif hors du commun : on se laisse aller à rêver parmi les fleurs , les légumes, les pierres... on peut y traverser le petit pont supplantant un point d'eau pour y voir patauger les canards ou alors on peut grimper sur les architectures de bois et d'alu pour prendre un peu de hauteur. Une bonne respiration en été pour fuir un peu la foule des bords de mer. Original et fort agréable à traverser ou pour se poser et se reposer...

Écrin de verdure à quelques pas du centre, son emplacement à l'écart des chemins conventionnels garanti néanmoins tranquillité et fraîcheur quand Wimereux est surchargé! Les réguliers événements organisés dans la salle attenante sont d'autant plus intéressants pour y aller.
