This religious building, dedicated to women, was erected in 1329 under the orders of Thierry d'Hireçon and Mahaut d'Artois. Although it had very difficult beginnings, it quickly contributed to the development of the order and welcomed a large number of young girls from prominent local families. Partly destroyed during the French Revolution, the buildings were bought by the Bruay mining company at the beginning of the 20th century, and transformed into "corons". They are currently being restored.
