The blockhouse of Eperlecques, classified as a historical monument, takes you back into the secrets of the Nazi army.
From 1943 onwards, the Eperlecques forest concealed one of the largest blockhouses ever built by the German army. At 22 meters high, this one-hectare building was intended to serve as a liquid oxygen production plant and V2 rocket launch base, with the aim of destroying London and Antwerp. At the other end of the forest was a V1 rocket launch base. Today, a guided tour with sound and commentary of this historical monument takes you back into the secrets of the Nazi army.

Nous y étions pour l'ouverture, environ une dizaine de personnes, malheureusement un car est arrivé et à déposer sa cargaison de personnes étrangères , là n'est pas encore le souci
Mais bien qu'on nous a fait attendre ???????? certains on même eu droit a un café ou collation pendant que nous devions attendre !! Il on débuté leurs visites guidées par l'accueil et la boutique , une fois le groupe passé la porte pour démarrer la visite on nous a encore demandé de patienter 5/10 minutes, j'ai failli quitter les lieux ainsi que d'autres visiteurs , mais les billets d'entrée était acheté
Nous n'avons même pas eu un petit mot d'excuse

Je trouve cette mentalité désastreuse, normalement premier arrivé premier servi
Je n'y mettrais plus les pieds
