The Musée de la Mine de Bruay (Bruay Mine Museum) is an eco-museum designed to showcase the mine and, above all, its miners. To recreate their lives as faithfully as possible, and above all the terrible work that awaited them at the bottom of the pit, the establishment called on the services of real "black faces". Thanks to their testimonies, it was possible to reconstruct their visual and aural universe for an authentic plunge into the heart of the mine. These same former miners guide visitors through the rebuilt galleries. A fascinating experience!

nous avons eu droit à 2h de visite de la mine-image et nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer! Entre histoire du lieu et anecdotes de mineurs, nous avons passé un moment formidable. De 11 à 70 ans, notre petit groupe de 6 personnes est sorti conquis par ce temps de partage. Merci beaucoup
