An Art Deco hotel with the same architecture as the surrounding houses, with stained glass, ironwork and mosaics.
The first town hall, built in 1811, was totally destroyed during the Great War. Jacques Alleman, one of the architects involved in the reconstruction of the Grand-Place, took on the task of rebuilding it on its former site, in the Art Deco style. Its lines reflect the architecture of the surrounding houses, but on a monumental scale. In 2001, it was listed as a historic monument for its superb hammered stained-glass windows, ironwork and mosaics.
