Visit a church to discover the beautiful stained glass windows depicting the life of Saint Vaast, and the modern history of the town.

Built by order of Charles V in 1547, the church of Saint-Vaast did not survive the bombings of the First World War: it was totally destroyed in 1918. For its reconstruction (from 1924 to 1927), Louis-Marie Cordonnier was inspired by Byzantine art and Art Deco to bring light into the building. You will discover beautiful stained glass windows that retrace the life of Saint Vaast, the modern history of the city, as well as the statues of Réal del Sarte. Made in Germany, the organ of the church is unique in France.

Abbé Lembé, trop strict pas assez ouvert accepte L'argent Voulzy en concert dans son Église mais réfute un chanteur comme Thierry Amiel qui chante Avé Maria divinement!!!! C'est à n'y rien comprendre . 2 étoiles pour l'église mais malheureusement on ne peut pas mettre zéro pour l'Abbé! L'Abbé Gallois était lui si gentil et ouvert.
