THE SLIDE PARK
Park named after the Glissoire river, which once fed the ponds in the Avion area.
Parc de la Glissoire is the gateway to the vast "Chaîne des Parcs" urban development project, which aims to transform the former black archipelago into a vast green corridor. It takes its name from the Glissoire river, which once fed the region's ponds. Covering nearly 60 hectares, the park boasts numerous hiking trails and six lakes, much to the delight of anglers. Today, it is a place where a wide variety of flora and fauna are preserved. A beach for swimming and water sports is open to all in summer.
