Museum retracing the history of the city through medieval sculptures, Arras porcelain and landscape paintings.

This museum offers a remarkable collection of 18th-century paintings from the French School and the former Netherlands and an extremely rare collection of large-format French religious paintings from the 17th century, including seven Mays from Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral. It beautifully traces the history of the city through its medieval sculptures, 18th-century Arras porcelain, Arras School landscape paintings, and the unique example of high-smooth tapestry that made Arras famous in the 15th century.
