This museum boasts remarkable collections of 18th-century paintings by the French and Dutch schools, and a rare collection of large-format 17th-century French religious paintings, including seven Mays from Notre-Dame de Paris. Medieval sculptures, 18th-century Arras porcelain, landscape paintings by the Arras School, and a unique example of the haute lisse tapestry for which Arras was famous in the 15th century. The museum is currently closed as major restoration work is being carried out on the building until 2030.
