Since 2005, Cité Nature has been housed in the Art Deco-style buildings of a former miners' lamp factory, converted by the famous architect Jean Nouvel. It is a cultural and scientific center in the spirit of La Villette in Paris, devoted entirely to questions about food, agriculture, nature and health. 2,500m2 of permanent exhibits are devoted to the environment, the history of food and techniques up to the present day, and 1,600m2 to major temporary exhibitions. Visit with the whole family!

Petit (voire gros) bémols : l'accueil ! Difficile de trouver l'entrée. On clenche sans succès et personne vient nous ouvrir (ça fait pourtant un sacré boucan à l'intérieur quand on clenche). J'ai appelé aucune réponse. Quand on trouve enfin comment entrer le Monsieur à l'entrée ne lève même pas les yeux car occupé sur son portable, je comprends mieux pourquoi il n'a pas décroché 5min plus tôt. Sans parler du Monsieur qui surveille le musée. Attention aux pas de travers vous risqueriez de vous faire rabrouer sévère !
