Belfry overhanging the city hall in Arras, perched at 55 m high and offering a spectacular view of the city and its surroundings.
Overlooking the town hall, the belfry has been on Unesco's World Heritage List since July 15, 2005, and was voted Monument Préféré des Français! An elevator takes you up to the tower's first crown, then you can climb some forty steps. Perched at a height of 55 metres, you'll enjoy a spectacular view of the city and its surroundings. The building is topped by a lion, a tribute to Louis XIV, who united Arras with France.

On parlait toujours du beffroi d'Arras ! Voilà nous l'avons visité et c'est vrai que la vue sur Arras est belle une fois là-haut. C'est une des pièces maitresse de la ville et c'est à voir absolument !

Dès l'entrée dans le beffroi nous découvrons les géants !! Superbe !!! Ensuite l'histoire de la reconstruction du beffroi puis si le coeur vous en dit, possibilité de monter tout en haut, ou l'on découvre un point de vue remarquable !!!? A la sortie de l'ascenseur, on voit les cloches, très impressionnant

Pour y accéder , on descend un escalier qui nous mène au sous sol pour y prendre un ascenseur.Ensuite , il y aura 43 marches d un escalier métallique en colimaçon.L accès est plus aisé que dans un phare et la vue est très jolie
