Organizations for solidarity and mutual aid Arras

Born in 1945, the Popular Relief is a non-profit association declared a major national cause. It is entitled to receive donations, bequests and donations. The association has undertaken to act against poverty and exclusion in France and the world. It brings together people of all opinions, conditions and origins that wish to promote solidarity. This address brings together two entities, each of which has volunteers: at 38 Baudimont Street, the headquarters of the Federation of Pas-de-Calais are responsible for the management and administration of solidarity in the department. At number 40 is the local committee, which offers food and clothing aid, furniture, and organises solidarity actions (holidays, Christmas, etc.).

Created in 1992 and 1996, the A.I.D.A.F.A. and the AIDAVIE merged and, in June 2011, took the name Aidartois. This association of people services aims to create jobs for home aid: household, ironing, racing, homework assistance and school support, presence with an elderly, disabled or dependent person, child care. It covers the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and counts as partners, among others, the General Council, pension funds and mutual funds. Aidartois is: 10 volunteers, 9 coaching staff and nearly employees involved.

In the private park, there are people with low resources and difficulty accessing housing.
