An unusual visit to a remarkable mill, the only one still in operation in Achicourt.
Achicourt has been a land of mills since 1361, although only this one is still in operation! Rebuilt in 1994 on the foundations of a tower mill destroyed during the First World War in 1915, it produces a large quantity of artisanal flour. Fourth mill of France classified, it can be visited alone or in group, throughout the year. The visits and the animation during the festivals are ensured by the guides and voluntary millers of the association of the Friends of the Mill of the Turret of Achicourt. An unusual visit to discover!

Lors de sa rencontre, le président a même admis qu'il y avait une différenciation de traitement entre les nouveaux adhérents.
Apres m'etre inscrit, on m'a fait attendre deux mois avant de m'inviter aux activités.
Pas de prise de contact au préalable et cotisation plein tarif pour les deux derniers mois de l'année (qui m'ont été remboursés suite à la publication de cet avis).
Cette association est clairement politisée et fait une difference de traitement entre les adhérents, cela n'est pas normal ou alors il faut la renommer en "Les Amis d'Achicourt Autrement (AAA)".
Où est l'esprit fédérateur du moulin ?
