THE TURRET MILL

Achicourt has been a land of mills since 1361, although only this one is still in operation! Rebuilt in 1994 on the foundations of a tower mill destroyed during the First World War in 1915, it produces a large quantity of artisanal flour. Fourth mill of France classified, it can be visited alone or in group, throughout the year. The visits and the animation during the festivals are ensured by the guides and voluntary millers of the association of the Friends of the Mill of the Turret of Achicourt.
