Zoo presenting animals from the five continents, and allowing the youngest to discover the richness of the fauna.

This 7-hectare city-center zoo, nestled in the heart of the ramparts and featuring animals from all five continents, is a real landmark for locals and a must-see when visiting Maubeuge. Opened in 1955, the zoo is now home to over 300 animals of 70 different species. You'll find Asiatic lions, Arctic wolves and capybaras, among other surprises! Good to know: 20 cents of every entrance fee is donated to animal protection associations.

Beau Zoo au centre ville... le parcours pourrait être un peu amélioré pour éviter les allers retours ..les animaux ont l'air bien soignés et les soigneurs ont l'air d'aimer ce qu'ils font...ça fait une jolie sortie...

Pour une ville comme maubeuge j'ai été étonné du zoo il est vraiment très bien fait agencé et les animaux ont des beau enclos même si ce n'est pas l'idéal pour eux mais c'est vraiment chouette à faire avec des enfants :)
