This church boasts fine funeral furnishings.
This ancient church, listed as a Monument Historique, dates back to the 12th century. It's one of the oldest religious buildings in the Valenciennes region! It was built by Franciscans. Its large square tower, built in the 19th century in the Gothic style, overlooks the surrounding area. Inside, you can still admire the fine quality of the funerary furnishings. Jeanne de Valois and her daughter, Isabelle de Namur, were re-interred here in 2011, following their exhumation in 1977 in the Fontenelle church. An instructive cultural visit.
