PUBLIC GARDEN
Public garden with trees and very well maintained, perfect for nice family walks in Hazebrouck.
Inaugurated in 1929, this public garden is a beautiful green setting in which to discover two statues. The first is a tribute to the town's former deputy mayor, Jules Lemire. This former abbot had wanted to create a convivial garden open to all who wished to get some fresh air. The second statue is of Pomona, the Etruscan divinity of fruit and gardens. The site is planted with trees and very well maintained, perfect for a family stroll at the weekend or a moment of peace and quiet during the week.
