Typical Flemish style restaurant offering brasserie style cuisine with a pleasant welcome in Hazebrouck.
It is impossible to miss La Taverne d'Hazebrouck which proudly stands on the Grand Place of the city. With the two French fries barracks just in front of it, the setting is set, you are in Flanders! The restaurant was once a café in the typical Flemish style. The establishment was transformed in the 1980's but traces of it remain, as the old décor with the old woodwork shows. The modernity is in the plate with a very beautiful effort of presentation. The dishes are simple, but always of good quality!

Nous étions 10 à table, les deux personnes ayant pris le tartare on été malade.
Je ne recommande pas du tout ce restaurant malhonnête.
De plus c’est là ou Monsieur le Maire de Hazebrouck et Steevoorde ont fête leurs victoires pour leur élections pour être députe .

Vous mangerez bien, bien sûr, mais l’accueil dépendra de vos opinions politiques. Pour être certain d’obtenir un sourire et un soupçon de bienveillance, mieux vaut vous renseigner et œuvrer en faveur du camp de la municipalité en place.
C’est un style comme un autre, mais visiblement, cela suffit à remplir quelques tables.
Si vous avez de l’ambition, n’hésitez pas : vous y trouverez matière à faire.
