The only mermaid buoy in France that has been welcoming sailors from all over the world since 1989 in Dunkirk.

You can only see it if you go out to sea. It is the only mermaid buoy in France. It has no cardinal function, but it has been welcoming sailors from all over the world since 1989! A first version existed from 1989 until 2005, and a younger version was reinstalled in 2006. Since then, every winter, in order to avoid gales and big waves, she leaves the North Sea to come back in spring.
