Restaurant serving homemade cakes and offering a nice selection of draught beers.
A new concept has been introduced on Place Jean-Bart. The Brunch O'Day offers a menu that, as its name suggests, makes a nod to the brunch trend (to be tested, the "Full English Breakfast"). But you can also have breakfast, take a break for lunch or sit back and enjoy homemade cakes, with a smoothie, a milk shake or its "monstrously" gourmet version: a freakshake. Nicolas Fermon, the manager, imagined a three-level establishment with three different atmospheres depending on the time of day. The cosy living room on the first floor is perfect for relaxing comfortably on the sofas and sipping a hot drink. We appreciate the terrace with a breathtaking view of the statue of Jean Bart, and even more so the balcony - the only public balcony in the square - with a view of the famous privateer. All facing due south! The establishment offers Benedictine egg dishes, bagels, burgers and fish and chips. Amazing for a coffee shop, The Brunch O'Day offers a fine selection of draught beers. Proposals for vegetarians.
