Museum housing a selection of paintings and drawings dating from the to the century and a natural history collection.

The museum is located in the former "Mont-de-Piété" of the city of Bergues, in a beautiful building classified as a historical monument in 1907. Built in the 17th century, its baroque style gable, its low arched windows and its slate roof make it a beautiful example of Flemish architecture. Inside the museum, there is a selection of paintings and drawings dating from the 16th to the 19th century and collections about the abbey of Saint-Winoc and the eponymous saint. Temporary exhibitions, conferences and concerts punctuate the life of the museum.

Pour la journée du patrimoine nous sommes forcément allés au musée de la commune. L'accueil est très bonne et les informations sont données avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Je recommande à toutes personnes qui passeront par la de le visiter.

Vaut la visite.exposition en cours découverte et historique d'un artiste artisant puis industriel. Quelques tableaux célèbres flamand et belle bâtisse ancien mont de piété. Avions profité d'un jour pluvieux. Vu il ya 10 ans à changé avec un fond idem est devenu payant 4e. Enseignants gratuit.
