A campsite at the foot of the city walls offering pitches with private plots and mobile homes for rent.
A campsite almost in the city! The campsite is located in a green and flowery setting, very quiet, even though it is at the foot of the city walls. The town centre (and therefore the shops) is also only 3 minutes away on foot. Bergues does not lack charm. It was here that the film Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis (Welcome to the Sticks) was shot and the town is rich in history and heritage. The campsite offers 84 pitches: private plots but also mobile homes for rent. In summer, animations are organized. The Vauban campsite has three petanque pitches and is surrounded by a lake where fishing is allowed. You will also find a golf course and a tennis court nearby. Hiking enthusiasts are not to be outdone. If you wish to visit the surroundings, don't hesitate to go and see the beaches of Dunkirk and Malo (about 15 km).

Vi rejser med campingvogn og der var lidt udfordringer med strømudtag. Vi måtter have strøm den første dag, fra naboens vogn. Der mangler lidt stikkontakter, men vi fandt en løsning.
Toiletterne er af ældre dato, men bliver fint rengjort. Bruserummene ligner nogle der lige er blevet renoveret, så mon ikke toiletterne har næste prioritet.
Vi gav ca 25€ pr overnatning. 2 voksne, hund og campingvogn.
