Very nice shop at a lively pedestrian crossroads in the city centre, opposite the café Le Flamand. You will notice the magnificent woodwork inside, which tells you about the age of the place. The shop sells essentially one of the great specialities of the city: the Dragée, manufactured by the Pécou establishments since decades. Here in all its forms and packaging, joined by the Noble Chocolate and other delicious delicacies, it makes this place look like an enormous (and luxurious!) candy store. These are the specialties of Maison Pécou, since 1880 in Montauban. Alain, Florence and Bernard Pécou, the fifth generation of dragee makers, are working to keep the traditional recipes of these delicacies alive.
