Sylvie Boyer's mural art and textile sculpture studio, located in a staircase alley typical of this wonderful village, is a gateway to an original creative world. Her travels (notably in Africa) and human encounters nourish her works. She uses natural materials (wool, cotton, linen, silk) as well as more unusual ones (mammoth ivory, palm branches). Sylvie invests a great deal of time and energy in tailor-made training courses to pass on her know-how.

A specialist in the art of arm weaving, Sylvie Boyer creates unique pieces of wall art and textile sculptures, for which she uses conventional yarns (linen, cotton, wool, etc.), but also more unusual materials: metal, terracotta, glass, plants... Maggy Dada likes to browse, sew, dye, assemble, détourner, give new life to objects. She dreamed of participating in the life of her village, left a "very serious" working life to revive the old grocery store of Penne-d'Agenais and transform it into a place of exchange and creation. In its shop-shop like Des Grands, you will find small antique wooden furniture, new and antique furnishings, original accessories, luminaires, crockery, and especially very beautiful textile creations: different shapes, moelleux doudous, quilts with acidulous colors… All rooms are unique or in limited series, and the whole form forms a beautiful colourful and poetic universe. During your visit, you may have the chance to see Maggy work on a new creation, it also offers workshops for children and adults during which everyone can leave their artistic spirit free of charge.

Héléna Vergnes is a passion for decoration. She has always liked to recover, dress, fiddle, détourner, give new life to objects to make them original creations. From here to transform his passion into trade, there was only one step, happily crossed last summer. It opened its shop, installed in a large, well-built dependency of the family residence, 2 km from Penne-d'Agenais, a place large enough to host the many creations born of its fertile imagination. Vases, photophores, jewels, tables, lamps, mirrors, small furniture… all these pieces are unique models, worked from infinitely different materials such as ancient linen, beads, rope, feathers, iron… and even palox, these wooden pallet boxes intended for the storage and preservation of fruits and vegetables.

Serendipity led Marie-France Dequin to settle in the village of Penne-d'Agenais almost 40 years ago. "I've blossomed here," she admits with a broad smile. She has built up a loyal local clientele, supplemented by numerous holidaymakers passing through. She works with vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from French and Italian tanneries, for belts and other products. She also makes a variety of leather goods, including handbags, purses, etc. Her talent and kindness make her a remarkable person.

Teddy Perrot (artist name: Dee-T) has always been artistically inclined. After learning to weld, he began making metal sculptures from salvaged objects, such as old tools. Their shape inspires the finished result. For example, he transformed a hammer into a shark. Silhouettes of dancers, a violin, lighting fixtures: his imagination knows no bounds. A life-size iron horse is one of his finest creations. You can admire some of his creations in his boutique.

Fascinated by wood, Fabien Roma decided to make it his profession. He became a professional thanks to a long training course at the Escoulen school, a renowned establishment in the Var region dedicated to woodturning. Since 2023, he has been a member of Ateliers d'Art de France. Fabien offers tableware and interior design pieces for sale, with a natural finish. He uses only local wood, which he recycles for his creations. Inspired and virtuous.

A graduate of the Paris School of Applied Arts, young Laurine has been working as a stained glass artist in Penne-d'Agenais since 2023. While she restores stained glass to help preserve the local heritage, she also creates magnificent made-to-measure windows for private clients. She also teaches glass painting, her specialty. Eve-Gabrielle Rosset is a talented ceramist who works without a potter's wheel. She uses only her hands and traditional methods (pincé, colombin). The result is colorful, meticulously decorated bowls, vases, raw clay plant pots... If you drop in to her boutique workshop, you may be lucky enough to see her bring one of her beautiful handcrafted pieces to life. She also gives modeling lessons and organizes summer workshops by prior arrangement.
