Inside, the courtyard reveals the true nature of the building and the imprint of Jeanne de Balzac, who had the castle built in 1523. To see: the French gardens, the huge fireplaces, and the monumental staircase without equivalent in France. The castle, sold in pieces to museums all over the world, has been restored thanks to the will of a patron, Mr. Fenaille.
