The history of the Ferme des Alix goes back to 1930, the year the Soulayres family moved in. Cultivated since the 1950s, lavender has known its golden age before running out of steam as in the whole of Quercy at the end of the 1980s. In 2013, Rachel and Jean-Marc decided to restart the adventure of the blue gold... Today, their plantation represents 18 hectares of lavender. At Les Alix, you will be able to understand the methods of cultivation, visit the artisanal distillery for the production of essential oils and taste the different products made from lavender.

Opening time and information on FERME DES ALIX

Open daily and on public holidays from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm. Open from early April to late October. Closed on Sundays in October. Open on Sundays (free tours: days and times on the website. Guided tours: in July and August, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 5pm. Groups: by prior arrangement). Seen on TV in the program "des racines et des ailes".
