Large family home with large living spaces and three charming gardens in Martel.

La Devinie is a large family house in which your hosts have reserved for you large living spaces with a refined decoration. Three charming gardens, one Italian-style for beautiful souvenir photos, two others suspended on the rampart with a magnificent pool for a refreshing bath, intimate, neat gardens. The guest rooms all have their own character, an atmosphere and a famous perfume name, an evocative clue to the notion of time that it is good to take in these soothing places.

Superbe maison dans un cadre campagne calme et historique, très bien entretenu par une très charmante propriétaire, toujours souriante et à l écoute de ses résidents.
J avais a ma disposition une magnifique chambre très spacieuse avec téléviseur, salle de bain privée et moderne, WiFi, chauffage ( très important en hiver).
Et le petit déjeuner dans une magnifique cuisine moderne, café, gâteaux, jus d orange frais, tarte, ...
Tout fais maison.
Je vous recommande vivement de passer un petit séjour dans ce magnifique endroit.

Very interesting property in the heart of Martel. Large room with a seated area which was very welcome. The only strange thing was for such a large room and separate bathroom we had no hanging space; just a cupboard with some shelves under the eaves of this large old house (it also housed the TV but didn’t need that). Breakfast was included and include lovely homemade yogurt which was delicious and plenty of homemade cakes (too many for my husband who is diabetic). ||Martel is a lovely town but be careful as on Monday very few restaurants are open so best make a reservation for those that are. Also the restaurants stop serving apéritif’ at about 5pm as they are getting ready for dinner which was very annoying. Couple of shops including a small supermarket just outside the medieval centre which was useful.||Parking for the hotel was just across the road in a residential street but luck of the drawer if you get a space. Good base for exploring this area and there is a heritage steam railway just a short walk from the town.

Extraordinaire chambre d’hôte! Accueil chaleureux, chambres magnifiques, petit déjeuner excellent (tout est fait maison), et martel est une très jolie petite ville. Petite piscine dans le jardin, billard. Ambiance très reposante. Nous sommes restés 4 jours et nous reviendrons si nous repassons dans la région.
