Large family home with large living spaces and three charming gardens in Martel.

La Devinie is a large family house in which your hosts have reserved for you large living spaces with a refined decoration. Three charming gardens, one Italian-style for beautiful souvenir photos, two others suspended on the rampart with a magnificent pool for a refreshing bath, intimate, neat gardens. The guest rooms all have their own character, an atmosphere and a famous perfume name, an evocative clue to the notion of time that it is good to take in these soothing places.

We cannot say enough about La Devinie! We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious and lovely, large bathrooms with shower, beautifully decorated with a chic sense of style. The breakfasts are incredible, made with care and kindness. The rest of the house - living spaces, garden - are generously sized and beautifully cared for. Sylvie has a keen eye for blending traditional and contemporary, the old and the new. Sylvie has created a gem and we cannot wait to bring more of our family back with us! The location is perfect, an easy walk to everything in Martel. Martel is a GEM of a town, with good sites and restaurants, shop and 'life' happening, and near so many incredible castles and charming villages. Our family has come to Martel for decades but this was our first stay with Sylvie at La Devinie. We will return happily again and again!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à La Devinie ! La maison et jardin sont décorés avec soin et style par la charmante et accueillante propriétaire Sylvie qui nous a gâtés quotidiennement avec un délicieux petit-déjeuner fait maison composé de scones, de gaufres sans gluten et d'un festin de fruits frais, d'une sélection de pains et de jus d'orange fraîchement pressé. Sylvie est également une mine d'informations ayant grandi dans la région et peut tout vous raconter sur la belle et magique région de la Dordogne. Nous prévoyons de revenir avec nos amis et notre famille et sommes tellement heureux d'avoir découvert ce paradis que Sylvie a créé. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour!

Très bien situé aux portes de la place de Martel, charmante demeure restaurée avec goût et style.
Sylvie est une hôte très agréable, à l écoute et de bons conseils.
