In the heart of the Cahors appellation, on the slopes of Luzech, Château Fages is a family property that has been in operation since 1660, when the Bel family planted their first vineyard on the land. The family produces 3 cuvées : Armonia (70% malbec, 30% merlot); Terres d'Albanie (90% malbec, 10% merlot), aged 12 months in oak barrels, cuvée VIth generation (100% malbec), aged 18 months in oak barrels. On the 12 hectares of clay-limestone with controlled yields, malbec and merlot give birth to full-bodied wines, rich in aromas and with long ageing potential.
