The area around Cahors Cathedral, a fine example of the restoration of a house with a boutique arcade and geminated windows.
Around the cathedral, after having taken the rue de la Légion-d'Honneur and gone down the place de la Libération, one arrives at the rue Clément-Marot, at the entrance of which is the house of birth of the Cadurcian poet Olivier de Magny (1529-1561). At the corner of the rue Daurade, there are timber-framed houses from the 13th-14th centuries. At 42, rue Daurade, note the house known as "the executioner's house", a fine example of the restoration of a house with a shop archway and geminated windows.

Jolie balade
