The cloister, accessed through the heart of the cathedral, this flamboyant Gothic style hides some atypical burlesque scenes to discover.

The Cloister of St. Stephen's Cathedral was built after the Hundred Years' War, probably between 1493 and 1553. A masterpiece of flamboyant Gothic art and a must-see on your way to Compostela. A small door to the right of the heart opens onto a beautiful, peaceful gallery of richly ornamented sculptures, some of them burlesque, depicting musicians, animals and fabulous beings. Architects and mathematicians will appreciate the perfection of the surfaces in the gallery and courtyard. Cool in summer.

Neben der Valentré-Brücke zweifellos die wichtigste Sehenswürdigkeit von Cahors. Eine Besichtigung des Bauwerks mit seinen markanten Kuppeln sollte man unbedingt mitnehmen und dabei den gotischen Kreuzgang aus dem 16. Jahrhundert nicht vergessen.
