Autoire and the surrounding area, with its famous and spectacular waterfall, is one of those magical places in the heart of the Lot, a true symbol of the soul of Quercy. The waterfall, the most emblematic in the département, is located in the Dordogne valley, just 2 km from the village of Autoire. A Grande Randonnée (GR) trail takes you into the heart of the wilderness, where you'll discover an impressive 30-metre waterfall. The same trail leads up to a ridge, past the 13th-century "Château des Anglais".
