Waterfall located in the valley of the Dordogne with a GR allowing to discover a part of the river.

Autoire and its surroundings, with its famous and magnificent waterfall, are part of these enchanting places, nestled in the heart of the Lot and which are the soul of Quercy. It is the most famous waterfall in the department. It is located in the Dordogne valley, 2 km from the village of Autoire. A GR allows you to discover a magnificent part of the river where a waterfall of 30 meters plunges - the highest in the department. This same GR joins a ridge passing by the "Château des Anglais" or castle of the Roque d'Autoire, dating from the 13th century.

Très jolie balade dans les bois. Le point d'orgue de cette promenade c'est bien évidemment la cascade dans son écrin. A voir absolument

Après une marche d'une demi heure environ, on a eu la surprise de découvrir une très belle cascade, de trente mètres environ, cela vaut le détour , si vous passez un jour dans le lot ,il faut aller la voir.
