A unique museum dedicated to a former President of the Republic, a local child, and to the local history of cork.
The museum of cork and cork stoppers retraces on the one hand the life of the President of the Republic Armand Fallières (1841-1931) native of Mézin and on the other hand the history of an activity that has marked Albret: the exploitation of cork oak and the cork industry. Awarded the label "Musée de France", the place preserves a unique collection of tools, machines, photographic collections, which testify of a know-how, technical evolutions and uses of cork.
