A port dating from the century, located in the center of Toulouse, where the water trades and boats used to meet.
In downtown Toulouse, the old river port of La Daurade was built for walking and access to the banks of the Garonne. Active since medieval times, it was the link between the river and the Canal du Midi. The water trades and boats crossed there: sand fishermen, paving stone cutters, floating hot baths, wash boats. The current port, formed by a recess in the quay walls, dates from the 18th century. On sunny days, a refreshment bar allows you to refresh your feet in the water. The gentle way of life in Toulouse.
