Botanically diverse garden with scattered statues and water features featuring ducks and swans

The Jardin des Plantes (7 ha) is the former botanical garden of the city, created at the end of the 18th century on the site of a former convent. Today, it has preserved a beautiful botanical diversity, with water features around a bucolic mound where you can meet ducks, peacocks, swans, geese... Young and old alike will appreciate taking a cool dip under the majestic trees, having a snack at one of the refreshment stands or taking a ride on the merry-go-round. Statues spread out here and there accompany the walk. A very pleasant place located right next to the Museum.

Le jardin des plantes est ombragé et très agréable. Il y a des poules qui déambules, un jeu pour les enfants datant du début du XXeme siècle, proche du museum, ont peut y faire un picnic et flâner à sa guise.

Très agréable pour un picnic ou juste de la farniente. Éviter d’être trop proche des manèges pour avoir plus de calme. Il y a quelques animaux (poules, écureuils, canards...). Le parc a beaucoup de charme.

Paisible et calme endroit au milieu de la ville animée. De nombreuses promenades à l'ombre des arbres. Un bel endroit pour aller à prendre une pause, pique niquer et même y faire son footing du dimanche matin! Station métro et tram à proximité
