Restaurant offering creative cuisine made with fresh local products, and a menu of market dishes.
The Cantou is inscribed in an ancient farmhouse of obvious character, nestled within a rural and bucolic setting. Located close to the airport, it is a haven of peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the center of Toulouse. Chef Philippe Puel concocts creative, fresh, delicate and refined cuisine, concocted from fresh, local produce, carefully selected. The card changes daily according to the mood of the chef and the market. There are some flagship dishes such as the grilled mackerel filet, quail nets accompanied by a julienne and carrot cream with cumin, the fat foie gras and its cherry clafoutis, the oysters of Arcachon, the armor dressing; for the dish: grilled meager and timescans of courgettes - potatoes, roasted cracks and pumpkin or beef filet and its risotto to ceps, the green chilled pigeon filet, the green chilled pigeon filet… before the cheese cart, the perfect mandarin, the tartelin to the figs or the chocolate base. This is a restaurant that has become over the years unavoidable!
