In July and August, the Place Armand-Fallières comes alive with local farmers' markets. Organized under the auspices of the department's Chamber of Agriculture, these markets are a great place to meet and exchange ideas. These summer evenings are festive, with large tables set up so you can enjoy your shopping on the spot, and musical entertainment (different artists perform each week). These night markets complement the traditional Thursday morning market.
