Lac Lake is dedicated every summer to welcome local and holiday travellers. Our sandy beaches are open to hikers and bathers. But before comfort, a little sport does not hurt! Casteladventure's leisure base rents pedal boats and canoes at half-hour: it is up to you to take up the challenge of the 17 hectares! You will also find a health course and routes for a more aerial visit.

On the edge of Lac de Clarens, this bike rental shop is not only highly visible, but also located on the Voie Verte So Vélo and close to other cycling routes. Casteljaloux Town Hall invites you to take part in a fun orienteering race around Lac de Clarens. An ideal family activity. Of course, the course can also be run solo. It's a great way to run while having fun and learning something new. With the help of the discovery map, you have to find 12 markers and try to recognize 12 trees and shrubs. Course maps can be downloaded or obtained from the Tourist Office counter.

This magnificent loop, which can be split into two or three portions with a number of pleasant variations, gives you a choice. You can opt for a very pleasant, sporty circuit. Or you can take two or three days to discover the area between the hillsides and the Landes de Gascogne. The Cadets de Gascogne circuit starts in Casteljaloux and takes you along picturesque back roads to Ruffiac, Romestaing, Bouglon, Leyritz-Moncassin, Caubeyres and Fargues-sur-Ourbise. The route begins and ends in the forest. In between, it takes in the more rugged terrain of the southern slopes of the Marmandais region, offering sweeping views over the Landes, the Garonne valley and the hills of Marmande, the tomato capital. It's a very rural hike, where you can observe nature and flush out a pheasant or hare as you go. Along the way, you'll come across a number of listed churches and remarkable châteaux, including Malvirade and Moncassin. Few changes in altitude and good road surfaces make this a very pleasant ride, offering you the opportunity in one, two or three days, with a base camp in Casteljaloux, to discover the area in depth, choosing a small restaurant along the way or stopping off at a picnic area for a local snack out of the bag. Run mainly by volunteers, this association offers educational, sporting and leisure activities throughout the school year. You can learn or improve your English or Russian, computer skills, sewing and knitting, patchwork and counted stitches, take part in a reading circle, follow cooking or drama workshops, practice yoga, table tennis or badminton. There's also tutoring, ballroom dancing and gardening...

It's original! Casteljaloux is home to a padel tennis court, a racket sport derived from tennis and similar to squash, which is played on a smaller 10x20m court, with a net delimiting both sides of the court and fencing or glass walls all around. A group of 4 friends and associates, most of them former tennis players, were behind the creation of this cutting-edge sports court in the hangar of a former sawmill on the banks of the Avance river. Three padel courts are now available for this accessible and friendly sport.

With its pagoda-shaped sunshades, the Casteljaloux swimming pool has an exotic allure. Located close to the tourist office, at the entrance to the town, for easy access, the municipal open-air pool is equipped with several pools: a 50 m Olympic pool, a 25 m pool, a paddling pool and a diving pit. So it's perfect for the whole family. After a few laps or just to relax, you can take advantage of the deckchairs in the shade of the parasols or/and refresh yourself at the snack bar.
