In the center of Casteljaloux, a brasserie-style restaurant offering sophisticated cuisine with Basque accents.

Long owned by Catherine and Rémy Fusaro, Le Cassissier restaurant was taken over in summer 2023 by their son Yoann and daughter-in-law Amandine. The new look is reflected in a trendier name (Le Cass') and a revisited bistronomic menu. There are pronounced Basque touches such as Espelette pepper jelly in the goat's cheese salad, ewe's milk cheese and cherry jam with the duck leg confit, and Izarra liqueur custard with the chocolate fondant. An effort that is paying off in perpetuating the family business.

Restaurant très agréable, les patrons très pro et vraiment sympathique . Quant au repas, extra , délicieux ... très belle surprise . On recommande les yeux fermés. Merci ✨️

L’accueil était très convivial, les serveuses sont souriantes et aimables. Concernant le repas c’était excellent, autant pour la qualité que la quantité.

Très bien reçue par un personnel souriant et sympathique, des plats simples mais très bien cuisinés,un menu à un prix très abordable(18€) par rapport aux autres restaurants aux alentours .
Il me tarde d'y retourner pour essayer la carte !!
