The Giacosa family settled on this Condom vineyard in 1967. Patrick and his son Vincent work the 10 hectares of vines devoted to armagnac. They use their own alembic still and master every stage of production. You'll be warmly welcomed for a tour of the estate, where they'll explain the work in the vineyard, the differences between grape varieties, the distillation process and barrel filling. And to round off the visit, the long-awaited tasting of one of their armagnacs!

Whether you're a wine lover or an Armagnac enthusiast, come and visit Château Le Courréjot! This family-run winery in Condom invites you to discover armagnac production in the Ténarèze region. Since 1967, the Giascosas have cultivated some ten hectares of vines dedicated to armagnac. On site, experts will take you on a guided tour of the vineyards and the different grape varieties, through the production and distillation processes, and then into the barrels. Take a behind-the-scenes look at the distillation cellar and still. The estate uses three grape varieties: Ugni blanc, Baco blanc and Meslier Saint-François, to produce exceptional eaux-de-vie with subtle, unique floral and fruity aromas. During your visit, take advantage of tasting sessions to savor their finest products. On the online boutique, you can buy vintage armagnacs, rare bottles and various other items. Highlights include brut de fût millésime 2000, apéritif du Courréjot, La Blanche and prunes à l'armagnac. Enjoy your tasting!

Armagnac 5 years old
To be enjoyed as an aperitif, like a good Whisky, on a bed of crushed ice. Nose: a light vanilla note accompanied by pear fruit paste, a touch of caramelized banana and a hint of sweet spices. Palate: a soft attack, well marked by caramelized vanilla followed by spices and a hint of flambéed banana, with a light vanilla and spicy finish.
Armagnac Vintage 1993
On the nose: sweet spices, candied pear and apple with a hint of vanilla. On the palate: the same aromas are found on the nose and palate. A touch of banana flambé embellishes the whole. The finish is discreet, with notes of vanilla, pear and spice.
Prunes in Armagnac
Nose - perception of coffee, a touch of tea, prune stone, prune and prune in brandy...
