You'll be warmly welcomed by Audrey to the family farm for a visit in good spirits. She looks after her black Gascon pigs, which roam over 20 hectares. The farm tour begins with a treasure hunt to find the animals. The maternity area is a favorite with the little ones. This is where the trout give birth, and with around a hundred births a year, you're sure to see the mothering fish and their young. Finish off with a tasting of farm products: sausage, coppa, ham, dried ventrèche...

Bakery

In 2023, artisan baker Vincent Ponzevera took over the local bakery. Breads, viennoiseries and cakes are made in his second store in Valence-sur-Baïse and delivered here to supply Castéro residents and visitors. The traditional croissants and chocolatines share the window with lemon tarts, Gascon croustades and original creations such as carachoco, made with chocolate mousse. There's also a small shelf of local products.
