In 2023, artisan baker Vincent Ponzevera took over the local bakery. Breads, viennoiseries and cakes are baked in his second store in Valence-sur-Baïse and delivered daily to supply Castéro residents and visitors. The traditional croissants and chocolatines share the window with lemon tarts, Gascon croustades and original creations such as the chocolate mousse-based carachoco. There's also a small shelf with a few local products.
