The spit cake is one of the best specialties of Aveyron! Maison Alibert makes you discover this authentic traditional pastry. Each cake is unique, with its own weight, its own shape and its own cooking because it is made by hand: the dough is poured by hand, layer by layer, on the rotating mold in front of the wood fire, for several hours. Don't hesitate to stop by the store for a free tour of the factory and a tasting!

Nous ne pouvions pas passer nos vacances en Aveyron sans acheter un gâteau à la broche. Gâteau de mon enfance, il tel que dans mes souvenirs ;) Excellent ! L'accueil était chaleureux et le prix particulièrement raisonnable (contrairement à d'autres établissements où en plus c'était Beaucoup Moins bon) ; malheureusement nous n'avons pas pu assister à la fabrication mais ce sera pour la prochaine visite.
