This well known market is located on the very busy Boulevard de la République. This small and pleasant meeting allows you to meet about twenty producers specialized in organic farming. Fruits and vegetables are naturally present, but also cheesemakers and other producers that a reasoned agriculture gathers every Saturday morning in the heart of Agen. This market has already been present for a quarter of a century and it is never empty. It smells good as you stroll by the stalls to indulge yourself with the prospect of eating healthy.

In addition to Wednesday mornings, it's the Sunday rendezvous of every self-respecting (smart) Agenais! You'll find only local, seasonal produce, and some of the cheapest prices around. There's also a lovely mushroom stand, and a small poultry shop. And don't forget the creamery, with its mouth-watering yoghurts and crème fraîche. At the entrances to the market, you'll find nurserymen, bakers and a fishmonger offering excellent cod brandade. This is the place to catch up on the previous day's rugby match, a warm and friendly market.
