Illustrious residence of the Estaing family who gave to the history of Rouergue and France many characters, military and religious, the castle of Estaing deserves a visit. The building was sold as national property in 1794, became the headquarters of the Congregation of Saint-Joseph-d'Estaing in 1836, was classified as a historical monument in 1945, was transferred to the commune in 2000, and then became the property of former French President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing in 2005.
