Sébastien Blaquière, a beer enthusiast and lover of his native Aubrac and Lot Valley, set up Brasserie d'Olt in his native village of Saint-Geniez-d'Olt in 1998. His beers and soft drinks - lemonades and colas - are made with water from the Boraldes and Aubrac mountains. A range of beers - blond, white and amber - is dedicated to the plateau and its wild side. Organic lemonades with blueberry or gentian are also an ode to the region's natural riches. In summer, tours of the brewery end with a tasting session.

Open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 5pm; Saturday from 10am to 12pm. Visits of the brewery and tasting all year round by appointment.
