VILLAGE VACANCES LA FORÊT DES LANDES
Holiday village in a quiet and wooded environment in the Landes in Tarnos.
As an eco-responsible village, these peaceful, car-free cottages in a wooded setting in the Landes region have been awarded the "Tourisme & Handicap" label. Here you can go cycling, take part in Basque regional festivals and enjoy the beach (the vacation village is located by the ocean). For children, a club offers Olympics, treasure hunts, games, arts and crafts, creative activities, shows, nature awareness workshops and even a free introduction to swimming in summer. And for teenagers, sporting, artistic or cultural activities with a real group of friends during all the vacations. And for everyone, the bar terrace and open-air theater welcome you to share moments of conviviality during evening shows, often followed by dancing. The site is also a year-round stopover for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela!
That said, the grounds are nice and so are the staff, even if the rules are a bit archaic, the staff were pretty chill about it with us. We stayed in a 4 person cabin and it had most of what you might need; the kitchen supplies were a little basic but enough for a few nights. I would reccomend staying here, but if you're just passing through for a night or would rather not deal with a bunch of different chores, look elsewhere.
Tienen un inventario de todo el material de las cabañas que tu debes contar al llegar y ellos revisan al irte, limpiar todo hasta el desagüe de la ducha y coger tus sabanas y dejarlas en la lavandería.
Ellos no se ven en nada más que vigilar que no robes o manches nada, les tienes que hacer todo el trabajo y además cogen una fianza de 150€ por si acaso.
El sitio está bien pero no se si son las formas correctas de hacer las cosas.
