In the center of Soustons, in front of the Memorial François Mitterrand, throne a statue of the former President of the Republic with his Baltic chienne. It is the municipality of Latché's «Bergery», a vacation place of the former president. Bronze sculpture was carried out in 1996 by sculptor Jacques Raoult.
